The role

The candidate for this position will be responsible for the following tasks and must be able to carry them out:

Communicate with customers in the Caribbean

Generate quotes for customers

Issue purchase orders

Follow up on purchase orders to check the correct items and quantities

Expedite order processing when necessary

Research and qualify new suppliers in order to offer customers the best prices

Manage all active purchase orders on a daily basis, check receipt of orders

Resolve quantity and price discrepancies on orders placed
