International Business Development & Digital Marketing Internship – Furniture & Sourcing in Hong Kong

The role

The intern will contribute directly to the launch and to the commercial and digital development of several international brands and activities. The first month is spent alongside a full-time internship supervisor, before a significant increase in autonomy. The team travels frequently as part of the business.

🔹 Digital marketing
Developing and executing the content calendar
Creating content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and the brands' websites
Contributing to B2B and B2C customer acquisition campaigns
Writing sales and marketing content in French and English
Taking part in producing catalogues, presentations, videos and sales materials
Monitoring performance (traffic, lead generation, engagement, conversion)
Competitive monitoring and market research in the furniture, sourcing and logistics sectors

🔹 Business development
Identifying and qualifying prospects in Europe and Africa
Prospecting hotels, architects, property developers, distributors, e-commerce players and owners of premium properties
Building and updating sales databases
Contacting prospects by email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and phone
Preparing presentations and commercial proposals
Following up and managing the sales pipeline
Taking part in meetings with factories, suppliers and business partners
Supporting the launch strategy in new markets

The organisation is based in a Chinese region recognised as a major furniture manufacturing hub, and works directly with local factories and suppliers.

Master's student in international business, marketing, communication, foreign languages or Chinese studies Native or professional-level French, solid professional English Mandarin is a major plus, ideally HSK 3 level or above Strong interest in China, international trade, entrepreneurship, furniture, luxury or e-commerce Good knowledge of social media and digital content creation tools Ability to work independently and take on responsibilities Commercial acumen, good communication skills and results orientation Previous international experience, an exchange programme or experience in China is a plus
