Sustainability Coordinator / Travel Expert Internship in Sri Lanka

The role

As a Local Sustainability Coordinator intern in Sri Lanka, you will support the implementation of the CSR strategy on site, under the supervision of the Europe-based CSR coordinator and the local manager. You will also take part in monitoring an international sustainability certification.

Mission:

As a Local Sustainability Coordinator & Travel Expert intern, you will split your time equally between two areas of activity:

50% of your mission will be dedicated to supporting the CSR strategy in the field, under the supervision of the CSR coordinator and the local manager.

50% of your mission will be devoted to the role of Travel Expert, supporting sales and travel production activities.

Main tasks – Sustainability (50%):

Contribute to rolling out the CSR roadmap for Sri Lanka

Monitor the implementation of sustainability recommendations

Update the CSR certification file

Collect supporting documents (HR, suppliers, environment, etc.)

Coordinate exchanges with local service providers (in English)

Raise the local team's awareness of CSR issues

Main tasks – Travel Expert (50%):

Sales support (preparing quotes, exchanges with clients)

Production support (updating tours, creating supplier sheets)

Ad hoc marketing support (content creation, social media, communication)

Contributing to the continuous improvement of the customer experience
