Operations & Logistics Internship – International Creative Projects in New York

The role

The intern will join the operations team and take part in the logistics coordination of ongoing projects.
🔹 Logistics coordination
Organising the international transport and installation of pieces
Monitoring production lead times with a network of creators and workshops spread across several countries
🔹 Transport administration
Managing shipping documents and transport-related insurance
Monitoring suppliers and service providers (carriers, framers, installers)
🔹 Monitoring and continuous improvement
Updating logistics tracking spreadsheets and schedules in Excel
Taking part in improving internal tracking tools

The company

A New York-based organisation designing bespoke art projects for a demanding clientele, working with an international network of creators and artisans. The coordination of each project involves fine-tuned logistics between the production, transport and installation of often unique pieces, across several continents.

Background in logistics, supply chain or international business (3 to 5 years of higher education)Organisational skills, responsiveness, comfortable with multicultural work Proficiency in Excel, comfortable with tracking and project management tools Fluent English required A sensitivity to the artistic or artisanal world is a plus
